Cookie Policy
Last updated: 20 September 2026This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on the VenueGrade website.
What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit the site. They help the site work properly and improve your experience.
Which cookies we use
- Essential — the cookie preference itself, your session once you sign in, and the Google reCAPTCHA security token loaded when you submit a form. Cannot be turned off. (Your language choice is not stored; it is carried in the address.)
- Embedded content — the OpenStreetMap maps on the contact page. Until you allow it, the map frame is never added to the page.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4. Measures how often pages are viewed. It is loaded ONLY if you allow it; if you do not, your browser sends no request to Google at all. The panel and sign-in pages are not measured, and advertising signals and personalisation are switched off.
VenueGrade does not use advertising or third-party tracking/marketing cookies.
Managing your choice
You are asked on your first visit and your choice is stored in your browser. You can change it at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer, and you can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential ones, some parts of the site may not work correctly.
About the fonts
The site’s typefaces are served from our own server. No font request goes to Google Fonts or any other third party, so your IP address is never disclosed to an external server for this purpose.
About reCAPTCHA
Our site is protected by Google reCAPTCHA; the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
About Google Analytics
If you allow analytics, visit statistics are measured with Google Analytics 4 and sent to Google servers (outside your country). What is measured is technical information such as the page address, title, referring address and browser/device type; your name, email or form content is not sent. Your IP address is processed in shortened form by Google and advertising signals are off. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer; measurement stops the moment you do.
