Building certifications and health standards ask you to document that cleaning was done. How VenueGrade's records map to those requirements, and where they stop.
VenueGrade does not issue certificates and does not meet any standard in full on its own. What it does is produce time-stamped records you can present in an audit. The auditor decides which evidence is accepted.

Ministry of Health Facility Evaluation Standards (STDS), Hospital 2025 — Standard 15
What is required
15.2 — Personal hygiene areas must be cleaned regularly and stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, toilet paper and a pedal bin.
15.3 — All cleaning and disinfection must be checked regularly, with clearly defined responsibilities, control methods and intervals.
15.14 — The related data must be analysed every two months and improvement started where needed.
VenueGrade's record
Every cleaning is recorded per zone with the staff member’s name and time, on the same timeline as the zone’s visitor ratings. For the two-monthly analysis, records are filtered by period and zone in the panel.
The Ministry revises the standards periodically; check the current version that applies to your institution with the Ministry.
A program that receives, documents and responds to occupant requests: 1 point.
Evidence that requests were resolved within 1–2 weeks: 2 points (maximum 3 in total).
Evidence: sample requests received and resolved, with each request’s origin, status and the corrective action taken.
VenueGrade's record
A cleaning request a visitor opens on the terminal and the staff member’s cleaning confirmation are both recorded with zone and time, so you can see when each request was opened and closed.
A4.1 covers all request types (indoor air quality, temperature, smell and more); VenueGrade records cleaning requests only.
Section 4.85: employers must provide adequate washroom facilities, kept maintained, clean and sanitary.
Construction sites with 25 or more workers (since 1 October 2024): washrooms must be cleaned and sanitized regularly, and maintenance and cleaning records kept for at least 30 days.
VenueGrade's record
Cleaning records are kept with zone and time and filtered by date range in the panel; a worker’s complaint is recorded as a cleaning request from the terminal.
The terminal needs power and Wi-Fi, which a construction site has to provide.
